Fairmont Olympic Hotel welcomes guests to capture personal memories during their stay or dining experience using handheld cameras and mobile devices. However, professional, commercial, and organized photography or videography requires advance written approval from the hotel’s Marketing Department.
Professional photography and videography may be permitted for contracted group programs, special events, and weddings arranged through the hotel’s Wedding Specialist. Wedding room block reservations alone, as well as ceremonies held at nearby churches or other venues, do not authorize professional photography at the hotel.
Other photoshoots may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability, management approval, applicable fees, and the execution of required agreements. Fees for approved private-space photoshoots start at $1,500. All requests must be arranged in advance and may not interfere with hotel operations, guest privacy, safety, or the atmosphere of the property.
Fairmont Olympic Hotel is private property and reserves the right to restrict unauthorized photography and videography throughout its interior and exterior spaces. Written authorization is also required for commercial use of the hotel’s name, logos, trademarks, facilities, or imagery.

At Olympic Bar, Founders Club, and Afternoon Tea in the Lobby Lounge, a mandatory 20% gratuity is applied to parties of six or more and fully retained by the service team.
Fairmont Olympic Hotel recognizes that pets are an extended part of your family and we are pleased to welcome dogs and cats to our property with a pet cleaning fee of $75.00 USD per stay. Guests are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from the pet. The hotel reserves the right to charge the guest’s account if damage is caused.
